Reed Stockman serves as chief content curator
for AFP members and staff. On a daily basis, Stockman responds to member
questions and requests for data and resources and monitors trends in the
fundraising profession as part of our knowledge management activities. He
researches, selects and maintains library collections, including books,
periodicals, audio and visual media. Stockman oversees the development of
web-based Resource Center information, blog and knowledge management content.
Stockman regularly has a high level of contact
with AFP membership, volunteer leaders, AFP partners and the fundraising
community. He is responsible for the AFP Resource Center and for the high
quality delivery of content on multiple platforms. Stockman is AFP’s chief
blogger and a key stakeholder in all things web as they relate to AFP content.
His Nonprofit Technology blog was recently spotlighted by Tech Soup as a major
resource for nonprofit technology information and two of the Resource Center
blogs are recognized in a listing of the top 150 nonprofit blogs. Stockman uses
a variety of analytics to keep current on the most requested topics. He is tje Division liaison to AFP’s International Conference on Fundraising,Technology Social
Networking Task Force and AFP's Publishing Advisory Committee.
